• Do I need to schedule an Onsite Design Consultation to have work done at my property?

Yes!  If you considering commissioning Artistic Alternatives for an upcoming project, an "onsite" design consultation is required.  An onsite design consultation means that an associate from Artistic Alternatives will schedule a one-on-one meeting at your property to discuss your project at length.  The design consultation is an important part of the overall design process, as it affords the artists an opportunity to clearly visualize and understand the needs and priorities of your upcoming project while it is in the early stages.  During the consultation, we will present you with our extensive portfolio displaying our custom designed and hand applied finishes, helping you to better visualize the limitless possibilities available.  We will also examine the area receiving the artwork and consider a plan for any type of necessary surface preparation so that your project runs smoothly.  

The fee for an onsite design consultation is $100 for properties located within the state of New Jersey, and $150 for properties located in the New York metro area.  Should you commission Artistic Alternatives for your project, the consultation fee is immediately credited back to you on your binding contract.  The minimum per project fee is $900.

• When should I schedule an onsite Design Consultation?

Artistic Alternatives is typically booked 3 to 4 months in advance.  We recommend that an onsite design consultation be done as soon as possible so that we may place your project into our most current work schedule.

• Are you Insured and Licensed?

Yes!  Artistic Alternatives is a legal business entity and holds a comprehensive liability insurance policy through Scottsdale Insurance Company.  Artistic Alternatives is also licensed with the state of New Jersey under the Home Improvement Contractors License Law # 13VH01399900.

• Do you provide services to commercial businesses and professional offices?

Yes!  Our decorative painting services are often considered by various types of businesses throughout the New Jersey area.  Various types of businesses requesting our custom painted wall murals, ceiling murals, faux finishes and Venetian plasters include:
